Pet Gift Giving at Christmas
Well, Christmas is upon us and when doing your Christmas shopping make sure you don’t forget your trusty four-legged friend! When it comes to Christmas you can really got to town with Christmas gifts and treats – the shops are simply stuffed high with them!
My pet dog, a bouncy and mischievous shihtzu called Tashi, and my pet cat, called Tikka get spoilt at this time of year. Tashi is always wonderfully excited about any new gift whereas Tikka seems to have perfected the ‘total lack of enthusiasm’ look down to an art! I’ll always get each of them a treat of some sort and a toy to entertain them over Christmas. Tashi is being lined up for a new coat and Tikka is in need of a new comfy blanket. You don’t have to spend much, you can find some great bargains out there. I saw a nice cat blanket earlier and it the website had voucher codes for an extra 20% off for this week, so I’ll probaby be getting that one.
Even friends of mine have got into the spirit and wrap up a gift or two when they come to visit! I have also a list of furry friends to buy for on my Christmas present list. My partner shakes his head in bemused disbelief! But I won’t be put off! The appreciation that is shown by the canine recipients of gifts in particular is enough to make it all worth while and for all the pleasure my pets give me throughout the year I’m more than happy to lavish them with gifts in the festive season.
